Good episode

The sister is a little annoying, but it's realistic as far as sisters go. I love the show, and thank goodness for some good POC and LGBT representation in shows, where it's just common, and not made a big deal of, because it's completely normal.

[6.8] Violet as iodine

Warning: Spoilers
Episode 7: Well, that was interesting with some development and Dion's up and down stuff before "Biona CDC" stepped in in Mercedes vehicles!

Dion better soon use his powers and teleport himself to safety before becoming a lab rat, but then, maybe, he is meant to put Biona corporation "upside down" in the next episode(s).

But of course, it's Netflix.

Would it kill Netflix to have just one show without sticking in some wokeness? Just one! I don't know why I'm surprised anymore. It's clear that it's mandatory by them before they will produce your show.

The story seems interesting but it is slow getting there. Nicole, the mom, needs to stand up to her a-hole boss but has yet to do so.

Still seems like some decent groundwork but a little faster pacing and keeping wokeness out (that has nothing to do with the story-redundant because that's what wokeness is by definition) can make this a pretty entertaining show.

Writers have clearly never been to a hospital
chunkylefunga1 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I know this is a fantasy show but the writers write like the hospital is a prison with doctors watching each others every move.

The reality is that Dion's Aunt would 100% have gotten away with 'deleting' his medical records. All she'd have to do is not save his file, it's that simple.

What the writers could have done is have his Aunt not save his file, then her girlfriend query where was his file.

And what an odd tangent. To suddenly make his Aunt gay, dating her boss, and her girlfriend to suddenly not trust her when supposidly they'd been dating a while. If your partner said to trust you about an issue which your family, your partner would trust you, they wouldn't immediately report you.

None of this episode made sense.
