If you Google every person and every fact presented in this documentary, you will find that they told us the truth years ago, but the LIARS WERE LOUDER.
This county has gone from keeping human beings in a zoo, to measuring intellectual capacity by filling human skulls with mustard seeds, to denying education to certain people to justify maintaining an underclass. Poor people have had no access to schools, no books, were not allowed to use the library, but when they fail to test well, we blame genetics. After putting a milestone around the necks of poor people, we look back and claim that it is genetics and not the milestone that prevents the poor from keeping up. A poverty gene? Really? When Jesus said that the poor would always be with us, what he meant was that the greedy would never take their foot off the neck of the poor not that the poor was passing a gene on to their children.
I was educated in the 60s when all this mumbo jumbo about genetics was taught as fact. Now they tell us that they can't identify a gene, they don't have a definition for a gene, and they've never seen a gene. DNA is now inert, and not a determinate of behavior or even physical traits because our DNA is not much different from a RAT. It appears that everything we were once told was genetic is environmental. Who would have thunk that?
In the meantime, they have sterilized hundreds of thousands of "unfit" humans to prevent them from reproducing. What is really hurtful is that after they almost exterminated the First People, Nixon had the nerve to forcibly sterilize 40% of the women who survived and were paying reparations. Being White is not even enough. Your ancestors had to have come from the right part of Europe. Christopher Columbus is not even White enough for these Bell Curve folks.
What is a fact is that food and education increase potential and quality of life, but we would prefer to put a milestone around the necks of our poor babies and tell them to sink or swim. "Pull yourself up by your bootstraps," when they don't even have boots. I do understand why the people shown at the end of the documentary feel so hopeless. Humanity has a price tag in this country. If you can't pay the price, you are forced to sit out the game and then they blame YOU. How sad.
