This is the series that Sean Xiao (Xiao Zhan)participated in 2017. He plays Ji Chong in the this. As a new actor, he played naturally and was successful because Ji Chong made me fall in love. The beauty of Shangri-La in China is also unforgettable. I remember that there is a book called "Lost Horizon", and the mysterious place depicted in it is Shangri-La. All in all, it's good.

Great production and storyline. As the story progresses, you will start to love all the characters. Great acting from the main leads and the supporting ones. Xiao Zhan definitely shows his acting talents even though it was his very first important role!

I'm a die hard fan of Xiao Zhan who was waiting for his next acting stint. However as this was his first acting role, I was afraid he might come off as rookie but I was pleasantly surprised. The emotional scenes were well portrayed. He makes his presence felt even as the second lead. Now keeping my bias aside, Wang Talu and Li Qin have also done a fantastic job. Though the story picks off kind of cliché, it gets speed half way. Overall a pretty good watch 👍

Fantastic acting from everyone. Xiao Zhan did an amazing job. His acting is incredible. Absolutely loving his manly look in this series great to see a different side to him. Also that kiss scene was beautiful. Cant wait to see your future works and the different characters you will play. Wishing you great success in this series. The king Xiao Zhan has returned.

Beautifully shot scenes in the high mountains of China with an original plot. Also good acting and chemistry with all the main characters. Especially Xiao Zhang who has proven he not only has good looks but good acting as well.
Beyond my expectation and Xiao Zhan is definitely worth supporting

I have waited for this drama for three years and it finally arrives! Xiao Zhan did a good job that I can't relate the character to himself and any other characters he had played before. I heard that it was his first formal acting in a drama and I would say the result is definitely astonishing. The story plot appeals to those soap drama lovers but JI CHONG's story line is attractive, touching and full of humour. Looking forward to Xiao Zhan's future works since he is such a talented and hard-working actor

Been waiting for this series for such a long time! Sean Xiao has been underrated but still he proves himself in every drama he's into! Great cast! Darren Chen is also superb and the main female has great acting!
Kudos to the writer, and to everyone behind this series!

This drama has all the makings of an early 2000 idol drama. The love and hatred between the main characters is puzzling but it is still interesting to watch.
The romances between Jichong (Play by Sean Xiao) and the leading female characters are like the landscape of Shangri-La, addictive and beautiful.
What really impressed me is a chivalrous spirit in Jichong that I hadn't seen in a long time.
I often touched by the bitterness and sweetness of love from Jichong's perspective .In addition to romance love, the relationship between father and soon is also a highlight in the plot.
Sean Xiao's performance is very touching and makes the audience believe in the plot 100%. Thank you, Sean, for bringing such a great drama to viewers at the end of a cuel year!
Overall, this show is not as consistently sharp as one might hope, there's a lot of intriguing elements spread about.

Not an emotional person here. Rarely cry in any story but... There were some parts that choked me up. This is a story of love, betrayal, deceit, friendship, and loyalty. It begins light and morphs into a gut-wrenching journey. Every day I waited for the next episode because it's highly binge-worthy. The actors are perfectly casted, great acting, strong production, storyline, CGI... And the OST is phenomenal. Especially, the opening song. The war and fight scenes were my favorite parts. So well done.
Darren Wang hits a home run, and Xiao Zhan and Li Qin performances are stellar as well. I highly recommend this title.

The actors in this drama are all very well-respected, and it's easy to see why! Darren Wang, the actor who plays the wolf-raised person, portrays all sides of the character perfectly, and his emotions really speak to the viewers! Li Qin (Zhaixing), and Xiao Zhan (Ji Chong), are also both very talented actors, and overall this drama has a very good plot, great casting, and it's really emotional even just a few episodes in!
I waited 3 years for this drama to be aired and honestly it didn't disappoint at all. i watched it without eng subs till the end but now i'm waiting for the eng subs . i like to see this team work together again in another project again .

The battle scenes are the highlights of this drama series! I am particularly impressed by the Buo Xiang battlefield that was action packed and emotionally charged. Still, I had to speed forward many parts especially episode 1-30. The convincing acting of Wang Talu was the main reason that had kept me going. Wang proves to be the right cast for the Wolf, a role that could be a tall task for even a decorated actor. Li Qin did not disappoint but the character development of her role Ma Zhaixin was lacking. What a pity. Xiao Zhan's supportive role Ji Cong served as a breath of fresh air for audience like me who was almost annoyed by the lengthy tortured love story between the Wolf and Princess Ma; however, Xiao's performance fell short when transitioning from a lively bounty hunter to a commanding prince. To be fair, this was Xiao Zhan's first work as an actor if i am not mistaken. I was a fan of the Untamed and was glad to see how much Xiao Zhan has progressed in the Untamed.
If you are willing to ignore traces of editing that left questions unanswered, it is good storytelling. I intended to give 3 stars when I was speeding through the earlier episodes but the later episodes warrant more than 7 stars. Sadly, many viewers might have quit before the best parts of this drama series arrive.

I am a fan of Sean Xiao and I am so excited to finally see his TV drama. When I see his face, tears streaming down my face, I have been waiting this moment for so long. He is a great actor, handsome, hardworking and honest. This show is one of the very first ones and I love every episode that has him in it.

I spent about three days watching this drama nonstop. Very beautiful scenery and pictures. The relationship between characters is mixed and mysterious, attracting my attention making me watching it nonstop.
The story line often goes out of your imagination which makes it very interesting to predict what will happen next.
I love the Wolf. It makes my spare time a lot of fun.

My GF loves historic romance dramas so I watched this other one a bit forced to it lol
However from the 1st episode, I liked it too. We are watching it on Viki and now both waiting for the next episodes with English subtitles.
If you like ancient romance dramas, good fights and a bit of suspense and surnatural, beautiful landscapes, then it is for U.

The show was shot at location up in the mountains, and it shows in the beautiful movie-ish scenes. The main story line is kind of a typical Chinese/eastern Asian fantasy soap story line----it is interesting in a very foreseeable way. However, the side stories are fascinating, especially the family drama of Jichong, the second male lead of the show, that was only touched upon. My feeling is that the show is worth the time even if one is only watching that secondary story line.

Some scenes of this drama are very beautiful, hopefully one day can visit there too. Overall, three characters well played. I like the Ji Chong character, so attractive, especially like the story among him and his father, really touching. Xiao Zhan as Ji Chong in "The Wolf" a bounty hunter who is loyal and chivalrous. Jin kingdom part really lovely, everyone loves Ji Chong and he is a smart guy from starting until the end of the drama.

I've been watching it for 3 days and like it so much. It's Xiao Zhan's first professional experience as an actor but he did it so well. Plus he is so handsome, especially with the Ji Feng outfit in the beautiful scene. When he met the actress at the first time, he got close to her face talkingtoher. That's so sexy and attractive omg. I fell in love with him.

You know I really don't like the high pitched over acting Chinese female actors, sorry if you do. But I loved this drama from start to finish. It was a powerful storyline and acting was strong and captivating. Both male and female leads did a great job with transition in their characters and the filming was beautifully done. It was my most favourite Chinese drama I've seen so far, it was strong, sensible, powerful and captivating.

Very impressed by the performance and costumes. It is different from what i was seeing, i love that male characters are not porcelain pieces, they are real and very manly. I really started to see the serie by Xiao Zhan (wich is wonderful in his character) but im going in chapter 8 and the series already caught me. Congratulations to all the staff for this excellent work.
Very beautiful the special effects by the way.
