I consider NXT Takeover events to be consistently better than their main roster counterparts and though I still think this will be I consider this the weakest one yet.
Let me clarify, the wrestling quality was top notch that cannot be disputed but curious booking is what damaged it.
It's not a case of "Who I wanted to win didn't so I'm angry" it's that there is logic behind booking and there seemed to be a lack of it in both the match creations and results.
For example after a spate of losses Dream needed a win but EC3 badly did as well so booking them against one another and having a decisive victor seemed baffling.
There are no spoilers here so I will not be breaking it down, I'll just say that again NXT Takeover knocked it out of the park with grade A in ring performances but in this guys view dropped the ball with the actual booking.
The Good:
High quality matches
Fantastic roster
The Bad:
Confusing counterproductive booking
Things I Learnt From This PPV:
For the first time in a longtime WWE has the chance of producing a better main roster ppv than an NXT one (Still won't, but they have a chance)
We can now play a game called "Count the weeks until Matt Riddles first suspension"
