This 26-minute episode of a British TV series centers on the making of the teen angst cult classic "Quadrophenia." Director Frank Roddam had previously only done television and made his feature debut with this film; he talks about how the movie is basically about mob identity and how he didn't want the main character of Jimmy to be too sympathetic. Sting admits that he found the character of Ace Face to be easy to play. Roger Daltrey confesses that he liked "Saturday Night Fever," but believes "Quadrophenia" will be a better movie because it has a stronger story. Moreover, we also see choreographer Jeff Dexter teaching extras the correct steps for dances that were trendy in the mid-1960's. Of course, there's some cool behind-the-scenes footing of the picture being made. Worth a watch for fans of the film.
