It is interesting to contrast Frankie Ryan with Jackie.
Frankie might be a crook but he is a good husband and father. Even under pressure he has a plan. Frankie plans to frame another crew for the dead guards.
Jackie's name is not even on the list to visit his daughter in hospital.
Jackie takes credit when the bodies of the dead security guards are found upsetting his fellow officers. It makes them more determined to get the dirt on Jackie.
The episode does end with a shocking but to me an unsurprising climax. Jackie really believes that he is above the law.
This was a much better than the previous episode. The subplots were stronger but you still feel that Jimmy Ryan will be a loose cannon who is out of control.

I hated Kevin Bacon's role in this show. He was unrelenting evil. I hung in until the 8th episode, but I can't recommend this series. Obviously there are millions of fans who love this series, but I like a little levity with my darkness. The episodes were redundant and binge watching didn't help with that.
