I loved this ep, in this episode of bobs burgers the side plot is the standout from some classic teddy humour.

American Life 101, under-appreciated episode

I caught so many examples of how the "American Business Model" works, or rather, doesn't work for most people involved. It's really uberCapitalism 101 for anyone wondering how practically every commercial business runs. There are so many quotes you could write a thesis on it. Just as the writers of futurama were science oriented I love that Loren Bouchard and co are so good at pulling out the psychology of being American in modern times. Even Teddy's B story- perfect American mentality- "moving the goalpost". Teddy is so proud of the spider, but his pride is crushed when he sees the goalpost moved as the smells nice handyman Glenn now has a mist ghost up and working. Work in the United States is never good enough, never fast enough, never cheap enough and NEVER ENDING. No work life balance as evidenced by literally every bobs burgers episode.
