Interesting and edifying
grantss14 October 2018
In April 2017 the US used the largest bomb ever dropped in wartime to neutralise a Taliban position in Afghanistan. This was the GBU-43 MOAB "Mother Of All Bombs". This documentary examines this bomb and others like it which are reshaping modern warfare. When there's a threat, there's got to be a defence mechanism, and the documentary also looks at the ways in which large bombs and missiles are able to be countered.

Quite interesting and edifying. And quite scary too. The threat of nuclear war has been with us for over 60 years but the weapons shown are non-nuclear and available to a wider array of nations and organisations.

The science of it all makes for very engaging viewing.

Not perfect though. The small scale demonstrations seemed like amateur rednecks playing around with highly complex weaponry. Was reasonably useful though.

The dialogue and interviews can also be quite jingoistic at times. Felt like marketers spruiking the US war machine.

Overall, well worth watching.
