I know this show is a whole comedy based show but sometimes it gets off the trail and I didn't really like this one... I need more philosophy out of this unique show...

Getting Better

Episode one of Final Space's second season was a bit of a disappointment. In comparison to the prior season, it seemed quite lackluster.
With that in mind, I was pleased to find that this second episode builds on the previous for what I hope to be a continued return to form. Gary is beginning to settle into his new surroundings and we're starting to learn more about the newly-introduced characters. The show still feels less rich than previously, but episode two is an improvement nonetheless.

A Good Episode to Watch

Warning: Spoilers
A disgustingly funny start to the episode but it's a bit meaningless. Moving on, the episode is well-paced, not going to fast or too sluggishly through scenes. It has some genuinely funny moments in my opinion with cookie family and some okay action sequences which don't do anything spectacular. Most of the episode lacks that dramatic feel that the later episodes of the first season conveyed so well. It showcases comedy first but then takes an interesting and unique turn in the final minutes. Gary failed to save the earth, this in-turn means that he failed to save Todd's family. This breaks Todd heart and blames Gary for the death of his family. This settles in for Gary realizing that he failed to save millions or maybe even billions of people from death. He's friends ultimately show that there for him, giving him the power to move forward. This is an 8 as it isn't groundbreaking but it is a decent episode with a good ending.
EPIC!!!!

Warning: Spoilers
Episode 1 of this new season was just a little bit disappointing, because it's hard to give a reunion with old characters and introduce new ones at the same time. However, by this episode I already felt familiar with the new characters. It was interesting to watch the crew solve the mystery of the happy place, but seeing Gary's own happy place was epic enough to carry the episode on it's own! The music, the animation...
I enjoy it, great idea for an episode but....

I enjoy the episode, It was a great idea and have a lot of potential
but ....I think if they make the scenes in Gary happy place more it would better
and I think they didn't handle well the comedy, there was a lot of opportunities (specifically in Garys happy place) to put a great comedy scenes, my main problem with this episode is neither the length of Gary's happy place or the comedy in it, my problem is the philosophy behind it, witch was basic and they didn't go deeper inside that philosophy/idea , it could've been 10/10 episode and blown your mind.
Hue is so great he always makes me laugh.
