Sex & Nudity

  • Shirtless guys and girls wearing sports bras. Not sexual.
  • Only a few same and opposite sex kisses throughout the series and a couple of shirtless guys.
  • A teenage boy says he had "something happen to him that has never happened before" causing him to go to the bathroom after he saw his girlfriend perform.
  • Some talk about 'making out, being 'sexy'.
  • A girl says she's been 'hooking up' with a boy.
  • A father tells his son how they had him at a young age so to be "safe"

Violence & Gore

  • A boys gets hit in the face. Blood seen on his nose and shirt. Not graphic.

Profanity

  • Mild profanities such as "hell" , "crap", "damn". As well as religious profanities ("Oh my God", etc.)
  • The show contains some mild insults.
  • One obscene gesture. Brief and easy to miss.
  • "Suck," "god," "crap," "hell," "damn," and one-time bleeped uses of "shit" in the first episode, and "bitch" in the episode "The Real Campers of Shallow Lake" respectively.
  • There is no actual cursing but there are some bleeped out uses of the "shit" and "bitch"
  • Someone gives someone the middle finger but the finger is blurred out.
  • In season 2 episode 7 a french person describes something as "fugly"

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • No drug or alcohol use as of Season 3.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The show is more mature and rather darker than the Kenny Ortega classic movie.
