Exclusive: Artist International Group, the globally minded management and production company founded by David Unger, on Thursday announced its signing of Umut Aral, the award-winning director behind the hit Turkish-language Netflix series, Who Were We Running From?.
“It’s truly exciting to be a part of the internationally focused, dynamic Aig family, and a member of their extraordinary ensemble of talent,” said Aral in a statement to Deadline.

When it debuted on Netflix in March, Who Were We Running From? became one of the first Turkish productions to crack the streamer’s Top 10 in the U.S., registering on Top 10 TV charts in a total of 78 countries and spending four weeks on the platform’s Top 10 list for international Non-English series.

Legendary Television has hired Jen Roskind to serve as executive vice president of production, Variety has learned exclusively.
In her new role, Roskind will manage all aspects of the studio’s operations, including physical production, post-production, safety & risk management and production labor. She will report to Carmi Zlotnik, president of Legendary TV.
“We are fortunate and excited to have Jen join our team at such a pivotal time in the TV marketplace,” said Zlotnik. “Her experience and credibility have already led her to make remarkable contributions, and her arrival adds to the focus on expanding and growing our production capabilities. It’s fantastic to have such a wonderful teammate.”

CAA has added to its digital gaming talent coffers with the signings of Jesse Cox (pictured above) and Bruce Greene, both of whom have racked up sizable presences on YouTube and Twitch -- respectively.
Cox, for his part, created a YouTube Premium series titled Good Game in 2017, which The Hollywood Reporter notes followed an emerging esports team. He also produced the 2018 visual novel game Monster Prom. Cox, who counts 975,000 YouTube subscribers, also hosts the CoxCon convention in the U.K. -- an Irl meetup where YouTube creators can convene with fans.
Greene, on the other hand, is a co-founder of the Rooster Teeth-owned YouTube gaming channel Funhaus -- though he recently departed that venture to pursue a full-time Twitch-streaming career, per the Reporter, where he counts 117,000 followers.
