This entire film was shot in the living room of a New York apartment. The stop-motion set was built around a twin-sized ikea bed frame.
Some of the Foley sound effects were recorded with the real family members depicted in the film.
Every puppet was built and animated by Bec Sloane.
In the driving scenes, the background was created by taking Marj's actual 8mm home films and rear-projecting them frame-by-frame in time with the animations.
Premiered at American Documentary Film Festival and Freep Film Festival in Detroit, Michigan.
