Living through the ICO ( initial coin offering) bubble myself, i could not stop laughing through out this documentary . Incredible gains and losses all based on a whitepapers written up over the weekends . Watch this before investing in crypto, You will invest carefully after this. Don't do any ICO, look for solid projects that have survived ICO or even projects prior to 2017. Like DigiByte. The is a hard honest look on what happened, and it was not pretty.

This documentary takes the viewer on a journey looking back on the crazy period in 2017 when a lot of startups with a crazy idea did an ICO.
A lot of startups that did an ICO in 2017 have not survived or will probably run out of money in the coming months.
People that have HODL'd their crypto tokens ever since are down about 95% on their initial investment.

I really enjoyed this documentary as I, too, got carried away with Bitcoin crypto and thought it would be the answer to all of our problems , but all it left me was broke and despondent.
It kept me entertained and even taught me a few things along the way. Not sure about including John McAfee though as he was the biggest scammer in the space , but maybe that was the point. Worth a watch.

There is a real honesty with this documentary. You get what you see. A couple of filmmakers setting out to try and understand what the hell crypto is all about and getting lost in the middle of it.
It's a little rough around the edges ,but that's really part of the charm. The filmmakers clearly had a blast making it, learn some hard lessons along the way and met a lot of crazy people. Love John McAfee's 'bet' story lol. Give it a watch and you may learn something.

If you're looking for something interesting to watch and are curious about cryptocurrency, you will enjoy this film. It's a documentary about the journey of crypto through the boom, bust, and beyond. Even if you have absolutely no knowledge of cryptocurrency, you will enjoy the cast of crazy characters and comedy that ensues from diving deep into this niche community of crypto true believers and skeptics.

This is a really honest account of just how crazy the cryptocurrency scene was / is. Part libertarian, part criminal , part sheer crazy , but all entertaining!
Following the two filmmakers journey form the inside gives a really unique viewpoint of the scene rather than looking in as an outsider. Feel like I was there with them during this crazy period in our financial history being reimagined.
Not like another boring cut and paste Netflix doco ,we have all seen over and over again. Glossy but without heart. What this lacks in gloss it more than makes up for in heart.
