I'll probably get skewered for this by the more dramatic fans, but the truth is, I've been enjoying season 3 so far. I loved Riggs, and will miss him, but Cole is actually a more likable character and easier to relate to than over the top Riggs was. The more I see him develop, the more I find myself getting behind Seann William Scott as the new co-lead, and am finding it a welcome and refreshing change. I was part of that very vocal group that was angry about Clayne's departure, but I'm not too proud to say I was wrong in thinking the show would lose its heart. It simply found another one in Cole. I say give it a chance.

what hollywood moron thinks this is parent/kid relationships

So many times in this show and ones like this, the parent can't tell their kid no and the kid can do no wrong and are awful little brats who somehow know better than the adult. it's so ridiculous and not believable. honestly, can an actual parent with just a pinch of brian cells write these parts instead of whatever idiots are doing it now???
Murtaugh is just terrible.

You know, I actually like the new character Cole. Surprisingly.
But he's not enough to make up for the dire acting of Damon Wayans. Why must everything be done so hammy? It's over the top slapstick, and it just ruins the humour of the writing. He's not being Murtaugh, he's being Damon Wayans.
The only good news is he's said that he's quitting the show. If the show isn't cancelled, then I might start watching again... Though I doubt it.
This was just not good.
