The Pontiac Bandit Returns

Another very enjoyable and hilarious episode! Craig Robinson (Doug Judy) and Andy Samberg (Jake) still have an incredible chemistry, every interaction works and their singing is amazingly off-key as always (at least Samberg's). Terry (Tery Crews) keeping their craziness grounded worked very well and connected this episode with earlier Pontiac Bandit episodes (from 1000push- ups to 100.000 push-ups) The B-story (cops vs. fire-fighters fighting for Shaw's bar and the resulting drink-off) was just as funny as the A-story line. In fact I wish it had been an A-story line with the entire squad drinking together (like in The Beachhouse and Cop-Con) Altogether the episode fulfilled my wish to have the 99 do some actual police work and left me excited for the next one. One thing the episode missed: A proper 99 cold open, which is almost completely unrelated to the actual episode (just like the full bullpen, dianne wiest, etc.) Best moment of the episode: Captain Holt downing an entire bottle of chardonnay. (Closely followed by Jake singing at the funeral and doing a key-change) One last thought: Andy Samberg and Craig Robinson should do a movie together!

Hitchcock

I mean Hitchcock is as abhorrent as hilarious...but the exchange between Holt and him at the bar, when Holt returns to "save the night" is just a receipt on just that. And why its getting 7 instead of 6. Rosa's drunk-dialing leading up to it was a nice segue too-she's like the rest of us.

Personally feel the Judy/Peralta adventures have run its course. Still enjoyable, but becoming a more 'been there seen that'. The excitement in their dynamic was the unpredictable Doug, you truly never knew what was going to happen and when you thought you did, you still didn't. Nice twist and try with his sister, however predictable, which was the opposite to the experience of Pontiac bandit and why so hilarious. Nevertheless, it's always fun to see the deceiver get deceived!

No surprise that as soon as Gina is gone we get a great B99 episode.

Jake and Doug's chemistry is strong, but ti was actually a fun premise tonight. Sometimes the simple stuff works.

I've been writing reviews for all of season 6 of Brooklyn nine nine so I have to say, season 6 is great and could possibly one of the best seasons. A tale of two bandits was another seasonly visit to the Doug Judy character, Craig Robinson and Andy sambergs chemistry is amazing and they are constantly hilarious, I usually find these episodes a little bit predictable but this one was not so at all, I also enjoyed the B story quite a bit. Solid episode

I haven't been a fan of season 6 so far but this episode was such a pleasent suprise! So funny and it felt just like the old days! This episode fills me with hope for the shows future and it finally has it's momentum back.

I LOVE DOUG JUDY AND JAKE' They're relationship and banter always has me laughing ALOT, always look forward to their episode.

I guess it's ok but they should stop creating new content about thief just adding new characters it doesn't work well.
