Sex & Nudity

  • Cooper has a crush on Peyton.
  • Fred has a crush on Cami.
  • Little innuendos.
  • In "Would You Wrather Move?", Jenna says that Ollie "did something unmentionable at the community pool", which heavily implies that he peed, and which is also a crude innuendo, but one which will fly over the heads of kids.

Violence & Gore

  • In the episode "Would you Wrather trash a friend?", Ollie and Cami have trouble getting along. There are multiple fights, however she feels guilty at the end.
  • Fred tells Cami "Violence is never the answer".
  • In "Would you Wrather have a hippo?", Cami has trouble sleeping without HoHo (her stuffed hippo), and rips apart a few stuffed animals. Nothing serious, but may disgust children.

Profanity

  • Name calling words like: Brat, Snitch, etc.
  • Mild words like: darn, heck, gosh, dang, stupid, shoot, gah, crud, etc.
  • In one episode, a man named "Big Frank" knew a lot of bad words. During Cooper's Jr. Firefighter training, Ollie says to Cooper "Move your lazy-", but he gets cut off. It is heavily implied that he was about to say a**.
  • Ollie and Jenna(the mother) both say "For the love of Moses!" or "Sweet Moses!" which obviously replaces any form of taking God's name in vain.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The last two episodes of season 1 may be emotional.
  • In the episode "Would you Wrather say Goodbye?", we discover that Peyton is moving away again. Cooper and Peyton say goodbye at the end, and Cooper has trouble eating toward the end credits. This scene is VERY upsetting. I cried at this one.
  • A few mentions about the family's dad (who died a while ago) may be depressing.
