Funny enough

I think it's important that comics get a chance to showcase their performances but usually I'm disappointed. Tone Bell does deliver some funny lines and his style is engaging, especially his timing. He did a lot of "personal stuff" and there was some "racial stuff" thrown in. For my tastes he laughs a little too much at his own jokes, and he also seemed to disown a few of his jokes. He's no Richard Pryor but he did OK and he's still young. From this viewing I would go to see his live. Take a chance and watch it.

At first viewing, I was not really in gear with Tone's style. So, to be fair, I waited a day and re-watched it. What a refreshing, fantastic sense of timing, writing and delivery. I recommend this for all stand-up comedy fans.

I laughed throughout!!! His pettiness is hilarious! A good mix of subject matter too! Looking forward to next special!

He Wasn't Funny!

I had high expectations for Tone Bell comedy special. However, it wasn't funny at all. I love his comedic timing in sitcoms, but stand-up isn't really his forte (in my opinion).
