  • Two criminals hang the protagonist from a tree. Being a wooden puppet, he survives and is eventually freed.
  • Donkey which is in fact Pinocchio gets drowned.
  • Pinocchio is hanged from a tree.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Two assassins hang Pinocchio from a tree to kill him. Since Pinocchio is a wooden puppet, he doesn't die.
  • An angry Pinocchio throws a hammer at the cricket, who cries in pain.
  • Pinocchio and his friend Lucignolo morph into donkeys as they scream in fear. The change to their faces happens offscreen though.
  • Pinocchio is swallowed by a giant fish, whose inside is portrayed as a sort of dark cave where he meets his father, who had already been swallowed. Eventually they escape.
  • Hanging scene - Pinocchio is left to die overnight hanging from his neck in a noose. Drowning donkeys - Pinocchio when he's a donkey, is thrown into the sea with a concrete weight around his leg
  • Hanging, assisination and drowning of an animal
