AMATEURISH
KeremUlucay27 November 2018
Aydede is the first movie of director. It has big mistakes. It is trying to be dramatic but expect final scene, it is not. Even in final scene, you are not being touched. Cinematography isn't good. Dialogues could be better. Especially i cant understand why kids are saying "len" everytime? Also, I dont remember any music during the movie, this makes everything worse. I liked Ezgi Mola but sometimes big stars cannot be enough for 2 hours. I wish Abdurrahman Oner will show us better things in future.

The audience doesn't feel emotion.

The subject of the film is cliche, I think it's nice anyway. Being a widow woman in Turkey. Child character is more interesting, his traumas are more important. but there is an inexperience in the film. but there is an inexperience in the film. The audience doesn't feel emotion.

Road to Moon is Road to Cinema!
alidur078 December 2018
Oner's first feature length film, Road to Moon is a great example of natural storytelling. Set in a small village in southern Turkey, it is the story of Bekir, a little boy whose grandpa passes away. We go through his struggles to buy a bicycle and innocent love story with betrayal and heartbreaking. There is no exaggeration in Oner's portrayal of the story and no agitation, which makes it easy to follow and sympathize with the characters. It is a must see in modern Turkish Cinema. Proving his directing skills in his short Buhar (Vanished into blue), Abdurrahman Öner seems to promise more feature length films in international festivals in the future.

Firstly we know Ezgi Mola with her comedy roles but she also fits this serious and angry role. And the boy's acting is really admireable. This movie has interesting story with a good actors. I like it and recommend.
