What happens in CERN, stays in CERN
FrenchEddieFelson6 June 2019
A modern fable in which 'Twilight zone' events occur around CERN: a failed scientific experiment or an excessive consumption of hallucinogenic mushrooms? Frankly, I do not know but I guess you should precede this cinematographic performance with a dose of ecstasy in order to understand or even get absorbed in this psychedelic and mysterious atmosphere full of apathetic and pimple-faced teenagers. The result is globally frustrating but for a first film, it remains promising.

Slow and emotionless
RubbishScienceGuy15 August 2019
Are we meant to feel anything for P.A.? Or any of the characters? Maybe, but it certainly didn't come across in the film. The apathy of the characters was matched by my apathy for this film.

Any attempts at building suspense or atmosphere fail with long lingering shots making up the bulk of this film. This would have made a much better short without the many many 10 second long lingering shots of expressionless faces or landscapes with, at best, mediocre framing.

experimental

It could be perceived as an experiment. As so many others, exploring, in psychedelic way, life of teens, science, special experiments, questions and discoveries, happiness and love, touches of potry.

Or an art film.

It is not important the definition .

It remains only a film with very restrained target. For the others, a sort of game . But a good example of delicate portrait of unique age, emotion and change of perception about near reality.

Two million euro budget for this?
maisonmsn28 January 2020
It is a shame that two million euro of public budget is spent for this no sense and technically very poor film. Even the storytelling is null. Does no one see the grains?
