Nice, smart and sublime

I gave this movie 10 stars because while I was searching on netflix for romanian movies, this one is by far the best one there is. I do not agree that the lines are badly spoken, on the contrary... amoung romanian movies, this one seems to be really ok. I liked the actors, they played really good, not fake, like in most romanian movies :). The story is simple, touching, with a basic morale at the end... Although you could skip it if you are not looking closely. The professor quits on killing the pigeons, after he discovers family love (with his girlfriend and unfortunately, his unborn child). I is a nice touch of reality... With no swearing or explicit sexual content... Really... balanced experience. The film left me with a good mood.... no depression like most of romanian movies. So, Romania can be beautiful. Bravo!

A film shot just to be shot

Besides the controversy regarding Woody Allen, he is probably the only director who can make a movie about nothing and still have value.

" Povestea " is a movie about nothing, with no goal, no impact and many time, with bad lines spoken in the most artificial way. That would have not be a problem, if it was consistent of it's overall style. Whimsical until the end. But the movie is confusing and volatile. And boring. For each good scene, there is an equally bad one. For each smart and funny line there is an equally bad written line. Too bad for the cinematography, that does a very honourable job.

I have lots of patience. But I've spend half this movie checking facebook and whatsup, this is how interesting and captivating it was.

I suggest you wait for it to be available in some online platform, rather than pay a ticket in the cinema.

This movie shows the implications of staying too much in our comfort zone. The dialogues of the 3 friends are amazingly funny.

Wasted time

This is wasted time that I will never get back unfortunately. Typical Romanian movie about nothing, 2 bit actors and bad lines. Leaves you hanging at the end of the movie without any idea of what was supposed to be this whole movie. So sorry for wasting my time watching the movie until the end (I had hopes...).
