like "Amelie"

It reminded me of the movie "Amelie", maybe the main character's smile, or the similar innocence and search for romantic love; set up is different though, in contemporary Budapest.

Cliche of cliches
tomaso-di-castello19 October 2023
Money could have been spent much better. Giving it to charity, or people with housing issues in Hungary.

I don't really understand these types of movies, the purpose of them. Cinematographer students could have produced a much more creative result with this budget.

Cliches on top of cliches.

Not funny, storyline weak. Photography is at least professional, but nothing special. Cringe.

There are not many films that I quit watching, this was one of those.

Even I like the lead actress quite much, she's quite talented. The male lead is an air balloon. Bad acting. No character. Basically all of the hungarian macho characters are like him. Casting is everyone's taste, different. Bad acting is objective.

I wasn't expecting much, but still, quite diasspointed.

A brilliant film with a wonderful take on romance

Hab (Cream) is a brilliant film with a wonderful take on romance. Director Nora Lakos has achieved an impressive challenge, re-inventing the modern romance on the screen. Supporting by a wonderful cast, this film revisits the ideas we all have on romance, tackles love but also self-love, media and representation. The execution is simply magnificient and all the elements, from the original score, to the acting, production deisgn and acting is brilliant. An absolute must watch.
