As a middle-aged actor, he lives and breathes theatre, losing himself in his roles, to the frustration of his friends and family whom he constantly pushes away. As Lorik prepares a dramatic version of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland - the same play that his parents had decades earlier, been due to premiere when they were killed in a car accident, leaving him a child orphan. Lorik was raised by his aunt. He achieved his childhood dream and became a famous actor. But he lives in the imaginary world of his roles. Today he is Cyrano de Bergerac, then King Richard. However, the main role not played by him on stage but influencing his life, is the role of the Rabbit from "Alice in Wonderland.
An emerging corrupt nationalist political party has the theatre shut down for renovation into its headquarters. Lorik is confused, he feels empty and lost in his hometown. It seems to him that with the absence of the theater and his roles, his life is over. But actually, his real life is just beginning.
A strange incident gives him the power to hop into other people's bodies experiencing and dealing with other people's very intimate problems. Suddenly he finds himself in the body of the drunkard neighbor, and then he is a beautiful but lonely girl, after, he is the sick little girl, and then he is the odious presidential candidate Kandilyan. It happens randomly and against Lorik's will.
After leaving the body of the ailing little girl and, feeling her fear and pain, Lorik is eager to help her at any cost. Her mother doesn't have money for the expensive surgery, and the girl is going to die. Now Lorik is already the rich presidential candidate. He takes advantage to use his position and manages to get the money for the necessary surgery.
It seems life is ready to give Lorik a break. Having learned to love and empathize with others, Lorik is ready to accept the love of the woman who had so devotedly loved him. Annushka is now happy: they experience mutual love.
But the price paid by Lorik for his soul's rebirth is high. Kandilyan's image is so hated that he's shot, but actually, it is Lorik who transformed into Kandilyan's body that is wounded. Lorik's earthly life has neared its end. Despite the high price that he paid, he found himself.
