Great song, Unusual video

There are many ideas and moments going in this video that it's a little to make a decent description about it. It's a very good video, highly memorable but the majority of us are only involved with it because "Something About You" is a definite hit from Level 42, perhaps their most well-know song.

There are so many stories in it that it's hard to make a decent connection between them but I'll try. It presents the band members in two different scenarios: one shot in Black-and-White where they are seated on a train, with lead singer performing the song from time to time, yet they all carry some anxiety of themselves just to reach their destination; the second segment shot in color are moments where they try to impress some woman they like, then they are rejected in their lousy attempts and behind them there's this clown character laughing maliciously, in a very mocking manner (lead singer, I think). Those segments are intertwined. Maybe the idea here is to present the club of "losers", where the colorful moments where they didn't meet represent the past and the monochromatic segment is where they finally get together and become friends for life. Doesn't it fit the song? Not so much but the ideas and the song are so good that we don't pay no mind, it could go a lot worse if we consider clips from the 1980's. It's quite alright. 8/10.
