I will never buy a GI product again, you've been warned. I advise watching the first one only. as this, just like the 2nd is a mess and a complete joke.

Trash. If you like watching cool shots of the director more than subject matter including his weirder sounding voice over then you'll love this. If not. Then stop now. Truly

Men's Physique is a joke. A competition that ignores legs does not belong at the major shows.

UNDERSTANDING BODYBUILDING
camobred11 May 2019
The Generation Iron movies are brilliant. They are are great insight to the world of bodybuilding, why bodybuilders do it, how they do it, where they do it. Generation Iron 3 in particular shows the worldwide passion there is for Bodybuilding. Not just Arnold from Austria, not just Kai Greene in the US, but Bodybuilders worldwide. From India to Brazil to England to China. Well recommended to all. Not to mention very motivational to for those already in the sport.

Best in the series

I have never been a fan of the Generation Iron series, down to it's aesthetics and sometimes boring despite being a very interesting subject matter. This one, however, completely broke the mold in term of actually following hardships and most of all- inspiration.

It tackles the difficult to speak about subject of steroids. It follows genetically gifted Ghanaians who can't even eat enough without going bankrupt but continue to strive for recognition. It follows underdogs who are the only bodybuilders from their countries good enough to compete, showing their ups and downs. It breaks down the divisions further and teaches us more about them in a layman's way.

It's easy to hate on these documentaries given their nature and it's almost piggy-backing on the success of Pumping Iron. This time, however, I've never felt so inspired at the end of a Generation Iron documentary.

Well done. 8/10

Great one

Despite all the bad reviews I've viewed...... Generation Iron series is one of the best ones, in which we can see what big athletes need to overcome to become the biggest of the biggest. All these top and amateur bodybuilders arr nothing but great people, in the sport and in personal life. This movie, great one, love the series. If you hate the movie, you don't really understand this amazing sport.

It is so interesting to see the different people, the person behind the physical body, and everything they sacrifice to compete in such an objective sport.

Cool to see the growth of the sport around the world especially in India and China. Better than number 2. But 1 is my favourite.
