I love the Mediterranian and that makes this series very watchable like a holiday. At the end of season 3 the characters have grown and become more likeable. Particularly a striking scene was when Louisa broke and asked Spiros to call her Louisa one last time. A piece of world class acting of Keely Hawes and a very moving moment.

The Circus comes to town and it has quite an impact on the Durrell family who one way and another get really involved, with the roar of the greasepaint and the smell of the crowd.
Many members have to dig really deep to discover hidden depths and courage to be able to put on a really spectacular public display.
Bazil had desperately bad news about the family inheritance that the Durrell's especially Louisa had held such store by, although there has been a minute chink of light.
In a somewhat desperate attempt to drum up dosh Larry decides to try his hand at Corfu Travelogues, trying out his ditties on his family he mentions sending them to the Mail but is he really serious?
Spiros has been gutted by his wives desertion and the Durrell's have rallied to his assistance, mostly one suspects at the hearty behest of mother Louisa. Its somewhat of an uphill struggle but it appears to bear fruit for Louisa, as she and Spiros do start to become closer, but can it possibly last?
Larry has somewhat of a surprise announcement for his mum as he desperately tries to comfort her after some distressing news, it relates to his Travel Advert which has spawned rather surprising results.
