After falling in ice cold water, Owen is barely wet in the lift, nor is he shivering, which he would be, purely from the shock.
When the locust swarm is let loose on the Biosyn field, the swarm is much larger than what could have fit inside the cell that had previously contained it. Significant space within that cell was dedicated to locusts in various states of development, so not all of them would even have been able to fly as shown.
The security man tells Dodgson that the cameras saw Ian Malcolm put something in Ellie's pocket, which he believes was Malcolm's security key. Malcolm handed his key bracelet to Ellie, he did not put it into her pocket.
Clare goes underwater to evade a dinosaur but after that, her hair\clothes\etc look as if it never happened.
When the human cast is making their escape plan, Kayla states that they need to reactivate the ADS (aerial deterrent system) before leaving. Ellie asks what the ADS is. She already had it explained to her when she and Alan were first flown to the Biosyn facility.
After the plane crash when Kayla and Owen are walking on the ice, it is cracking under their weight. The plane is in the background broken through the ice and the broken ice chunks are seen to be at least 4" (10 cm) thick. Ice that thick would easily bear the weight of a person.
During the plane crash, at the last moment, a section of the right wing drops off and the plane banks to the left. Losing the right wing would cause a loss of lift on the right side and the plane should have banked to the right because of this.
When Claire confronts Santos, Claire zaps her with a hand-held shocking device which sends Santos flying across the room. An electric shock will not exert that amount of force regardless of its voltage.
When the giant locusts caught fire, it would have burned their more delicate wings off first, rendering them unable to swarm up in the sky.
Everybody hides behind a truck from the dinosaur. You can see that Malcom and the others could easily be seen from the dinosaur's angle of view looking down.
Dinosaurs were thought to be cold-blooded for many years. Had that been true Blue and her offspring would not have fared well in the frigid climate they are shown inhabiting. However, newer research, including a landmark May 2022 paper in Nature, has proven that the vast majority of dinosaurs (including velociraptors like Blue) were warm-blooded.
For cold weather with snow on the ground, you don't see their breath and they walk around wearing only a shirt and show no sign of it being cold.
At around 53min mark when Lewis is in the lab with locusts, there is a Surface Studio computer on the desk, the power cord at the back is missing, meaning the computer is not functional at all.
Maisie looks at the album, the first photo is Maisie and the second is Maisie with Iris, you can see Maisie's face is the same the same way. It's obviously photoshop.
The scene where the guy's hands & were bitten off, but yet, the victim of the two dinosaurs still had him talking while his hands were bitten off, showed the dinosaurs being CGI, unless the hands were prosthetics & the dinosaurs were animatronic.
The Italian mountain rescue helicopters are colored yellow and red, not white and red as depicted toward the end of the movie. Austrian rescue helicopter, still plausible given the location, would be yellow instead.
The prologue, set in the Cretaceous, depicts a Giganotosaurus fighting with and killing a Tyrannosaurus (who turns out to be the genetic blueprint for Rexy). Both creatures lived in separate continents and in different time periods. There were not even similar creatures to either that coexisted. The relatives of Giganotosaurus (and Allosaurus) went extinct in North America before the ancestors of Tyrannosaurs (which were the size of a raptor at that time) were able to grow into Tyrannosaurus-like size.
There is no tropical forest located in the Dolomites.
Alan said that the BioSyn Sanctuary in the Dolomites is at 100 miles from everything. The Alps are pretty densely populated and medium sized cities like Bolzano and Innsbruck are well inside that distance, to even find a single valley without human settlements would be hard.
Raptors in the Jurassic Park series are established as being capable of running 40-60 mph. An average human can sprint at less than a quarter of that speed, yet Claire is somehow able to outrun a raptor for several minutes.
The observation station that the human cast escapes to has large windows that the Giganotosaurus is easily able to break. Such an outpost should have smaller windows with sturdy dividers placed close enough together that the dinosaurs they'd want to observe could not fit between them.
Dimetrodon lived during the Permian period which didn't have mosquitoes.
When Claire and Ellie are heading to redistribute the power, they turn a corner and are surprised by the sight of a large number of burning locusts. Any burning animal matter would give off a very strong odor, so it should not take until they nearly step on them to notice there are burning bugs nearby.
In Lewis Dodgson's office, the Barbasol shaving cream can which he gave to Dennis Nedry in Jurassic Park (1993) can be seen. However in that movie when Nedry was killed by a Dilophosaurus, the can got washed away in a canal in Isla Nublar, where Dodgson could not have retrieved it from because he wouldn't know its exact location as the can could be anywhere in the island.
Henry Wu believes that if he can understand how Maisie's mother fixed her genetic condition then he can create a similar procedure to wipe out the locusts that BioSyn unleashed on the world. He is fully aware that Maisie was treated via a series of direct injections. Creating a process that could be passed from locust to locust like a pathogen would be vastly different.
When confronted by Atrociraptors, none of the team of agents, all of whom are armed with guns, attempt to shoot the attacking dinosaurs.
When the Giganotosaurus confronts the T-rex, Owen asks if it's an Allosaurus. Allosaurus was significantly smaller than the T-rex, while the Giganotosaurus is noticeably larger. Owen was an employee at Jurassic World, he should know these basic facts about dinosaurs.
When trying to impart on Ian Malcolm how dire the situation is, Ellie tells him that it is "seven minutes to midnight," a reference to the Doomsday Clock. On the Doomsday Clock, seven minutes to midnight is not overly serious. That was where the clock was originally set upon its creation in 1947. For comparison, the clock was set at two minutes to midnight in 2018, and at just 100 seconds to midnight in 2020, where it remained during the course of this film's production and release.
When she, Alan, and Maisie are traversing the old mines, Ellie suggests they should watch out for bats. If there were bats in the mines, the floor would be covered in guano. As the floors appear relatively clean, they can be certain there is no bat population within the mines. Since Ellie and Alan are both scientists working with animals, they should know that sort of basic information.
