The Revolution House is a half hour comedy that fuses the family-friendly vibes of Fresh Prince, the edginess and satire of SNL, and the bright vibrant characters similar to Martin. This show deals with the crazy real-life situations of 7 young men of color living on the south side of Chicago. These characters battle with trying to navigate the changing climate in America, while simultaneously learning how to live with one another. Throughout the show, the squad tackles issues of race, police brutality, gentrification, religion, sexual identity, family, and of course manhood. "The Rev House" serves as a window to the everyday lives of a group of misfits who all have one thing in common: no matter what, they got each other's backs.
