....but then again, did you expect an award winner here? Your better off staring at the sun rather than watching this. Your eyes will thank you.

A "spoof" bad movie

I love bad movies, especially accidentally bad movies.
This is a deliberately bad movie. One of those ones where no one in the movie is even pretending to take it seriously. About 80% of every set is people deliberately badly standing in front of a green screen. Actors turn to look directly into the camera to pull faces. The cgi is deliberately as unrealistic as possible.
Its just bad. People are claiming it's trying to spoof low budget movies but nothing comes across as a spoof. It feels more like something a group of teenagers would make for a YouTube channel.
Also, the president is Donald Trump. That's the whole joke. Its the worst Donald Trump impression I've seen, there's no actual jokes, it's just there's someone doing a really awkward Donald Trump impression everyone in awhile and saying incredibly little. Even if you'd just copied some memes about him it would have been better.

If this movie was made by a bunch of kids in High School then the effects are impressive, but under any other standards they are some of the worst you will ever see. The plot of the movie is poorly thought out, the camera angles and transitions make this movie look like it was edited in in Windows XP Movie Maker. I only watched it because there were quite a few good reviews, but I'm sure they're lost in all the bad reviews by now and that they were posted by the High School Kids who made this movie. I enjoy quite a few low budget films, but this film does not come anywhere near that list. At one moment in the film a Commanding Officer is seen using a Nerf Gun. And while this part is pretty funny as a colleague quietly points out it's a Nerf Gun, the rest of the movie has the same issues. Ultimately they should have made this movie a comedy. Trying to make this movie an action movie sealed the fate on the possibility of anyone ever watching this more than once. At moments in the film it is more entertaining to count the number of pixels in objects (as the graphics are randomly bad) than to actually pay attention to what is going on.
Don't watch it. And if you do, good luck getting past the first 10 minutes. If you want the Super Power to listen to any seminar, any documentary or to listen to any campaigning personal for hours on end; you will have to endure the torture that is this movie first.

A covert desert base manned by an elite group of commandos and weaponized dinosaurs are all that stand between us and World War III. You have no idea how much I loved every single second of this ridiculous movie. If I was 7, I would be driving my family insane talking about it incessantly. As it is, I'm 47 and plan on doing the same.
This movie comes from Milko Davis and Thomas Martwick, who were also behind the films The Jurassic Dead, Curse of the Black Lagoon and Tsunambee.
Between an opening joke that refers to their audio as ZHX - Zombie instead of the T in THX - and a comic book opening that makes fun od probably everyone that's watching this movie, this is a down and dirty blast of fun.

This (ahem) sci fi movie should have just been made into a slapstick comedy, because that's how it develops, but the comedy is missing from the slapstick.
I won't try to say what the movie is about, because it's a disjointed mess of scenes that will bore you to sleep.
This may be the most boring collection of special effects since the remake of "Clash of the Titans".
They do try to give us the comedy, but they fail. I can't say it's the actors here, because it's mostly a movie of images and special effects, without a lot of expressions from the actors on camera. Sure, some, but they aren't well timed. The director, unfortunately, lacks the sense of timing.
Which makes for a very boring ordeal. Since it is boring, it doesn't get the chance to be "depressing", so it's merely forgettable, and for me, that is the criteria for the 3/10 rating.

This film is not for everyone. It is a spoof of low budget productions and does not take itself seriously. A zombie virus pandemic breaks out in Africa. The President, who looks like Trump, accepts the wonderful Russian plan of using CG hybrid Trumpodine dinosaurs with 50 caliber machine guns mounted on them. (I don't know how they reload them.)
The movie was fun with a couple of laugh out loud moments.
Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity. Trump is made to look like an idiot.

It's cheesy. But in a great way, it deserves some credit for the ingenuity of ridiculousness. The CGI is soo awful that it makes it great. The trump satire is absolutely on point with the meaning of the story it's pretty well packed with action and I enjoyed that of it. The props the movie were excellent. You could tell that they were crafted by a pretty great team of prop creators. It's awesome to see how these people come up with certain solutions to make props for these movies. And absolutely kill it if you're not looking for it. Domino's who is it? No I made drop suey. Oh sorry I didn't realize my text to speech was still on.

Milko Davis gives us an outstanding literary masterpiece in Jurassic Thunder.
Following thru on his dream by directing, his thrilling story gives us plenty of reasons to buy beer.
Tell all your friends to join you for a special screening and make sure they bring plenty of Steel Reserve. Post it on Facebook.
Heath C. Heine nails Trump to a tee.
Any idiot drunk enough can not help but to cheer for the weaponized dinosaurs!
You should certainly watch this film and contemplate the toilet paper rush due to the Coronavirus. You will need it after watching.
We all need to support these companies that believe in giving us these masterworks because they think so much of us.
I mean, dinosaurs are people too!
Just remember people, when talking about the movies that really matter, Jurassic Thunder is one to be proud of seeing. Tell all your friends.
I mean think about it, if you are able to watch this past 5 minutes, you are my hero. Idiots are people too. As evidenced by the cast and the sponsors and the great minds who greenlighted this.

I don't know what the big idea was behind this movie, but it is, erm, here. And we should be happy it is.
The acting is beyond compare, the special effects will affect everyone in peculiar ways and the art direction is so avant garde it is difficult to make out the directors heels.
And the writing, I did not know it was possible to combine so many layers of narrative into one, eh, script: weaponised zombie dinosaurs in Africa with special forces, Russians and nukes. Take that Hollywood.
I think the cast themselves sum it up best at the end: 'that was epic'.
Oh, and I can really recommend the closing credits. Some might even want to fast forward to them after a while.

An Absolute Masterpiece

This little gem popped up as a recommended film for me and I am so very glad it did. It's an Army of Darkness for the modern times.
I often have trouble sitting through a film uninterrupted, but I was genuinely glued to the screen for this one. If you like absurdist action, zombies, dinosaurs, or just general B movie fun, this is absolutely worth your time and money. I feel confident saying all those who left negative reviews on this film have little taste and no sense of humor. The special effects, though low budget, only add to this films charm. The cast brings us a fun and diverse group of characters, each with their own personality, quirks, and endearments, which is something that I usually find lacking in even the highest of budget blockbusters. The jokes are never ending, and not once did they miss or land flat. Jurassic Thunder was made with pure love and I feel privileged to have been offered a slice of their zombie-dino-military love pie.

First time on set, and a lot of practical effects. When working with the Director Milko Davis, he takes you on a journey that blows your mind based on the shoe string budget that this film was done on. Definitely can see this movie having sequels.

This spoof is a hoot! Watch carefully for more than a dozen Easter Eggs with ample verbal and visual gags. The writers and producers clearly know and love the genre. Be sure to watch to the end of the rolling end credits for additional footage including a payoff to a scene from the beginning of the film.

Directors Milko Davis and Thomas Markwick relate the enjoyably inane story at a zippy pace, maintain an amusing tongue-in-cheek tone throughout, and blow up lots of stuff for food measure. The laughably lousy CGI effects and ineptly staged action both add to the considerable hilarity, plus there's also flesh-eating zombies. The game no-name cast have a ball with the zany material, with Heath C. Heine in particular an absolute hoot as a buffoonish caricature of former president Donald Trump. A real kitschy riot.
