In the British Intelligence office, an analyst refers to 'Gouzenko' providing 39 names to the Canadians. Igor Gouzenko defected from the Soviet Union days after the end of World War II in September 1945. He provided over a hundred documents to the RCMP and co-operated with a joint investigation with the British MI5 and the US Federal Bureau of Investigation. Gouzenko's defection is widely acknowledged as the catalyst for the start of the Cold War.

Part 2 is a more involved watch.

The second part is slightly more cohesive then the first, still a sumptuous production, but still I feel like I'm waiting for this drama to open up a little.

I like the way in which Feef has pushed her way into position, but I'm still unclear as to her motivation for helping the Americans, is it financial, why was she so freely convinced?

A bee goofs, such as the mention of East Germany, but it's well made, and definitely well acted, Keeley Hawes is starting to come through.

I'm not gripped, but it's getting more intriguing. 7/10
