Could have been brilliant. Ended up just ok. God squad ruined it.

Ah. As with all Christian faith based films. You don't need to include pointless goddy bits. Let the faith of the film makers and the quality of the film stand alone and demonstrate your faith. As you should your lives.

I was enjoying it until the church scene and after that I knew I couldn't give it more than a C rating. Without it I would have given it a B. Without all the other faith references, it would have been an A.

Worth a watch but almost turned it off numeroud times when the goddy bits were shoehorned in. So pointless and such a shame, especially the end. It was ruined.

Panda.

Inspirational Independent Film
jkrivis122 April 2020
Finding Grace was very inspirational. Although it covered some difficult and sensitive topics it was able to deliver a positive and encouraging message. I think the film makers did a great job with this independent feature film without having the luxury of a big Hollywood budget. The actors did a wonderful job portraying their characters; even more impressive is this was the first feature film for many of the actors. Well done!

Inspiring movie that is a great way to spend time celebrating life, or just reminding yourself that all is not lost.

Emotionally raw and refreshingly honest

I started out renting this movie and ended up buying it. Finding Grace has an excellent cast and takes us through the emotional turmoil of a family barely hanging on.

I can't believe the poor imdb rating. This movie may not be as polished as some other movies but its a lovely film with a lot more depth and heart than many Hollywood films.

Good Family Friendly Film

It has been a long time since I have been able to sit and watch a movie with the family that I knew would be suitable for the entire family and Finding Grace is exactly that. 10/10 I highly recommend this film for anyone wanting a good positive message in their home.

Family friendly film.

Such a sweet family friendly movie. Even my 3 year old granddaughter sat and watched it with my husband and I. It was great to see Bay county Florida on the big screen and the use of actual nursing home residents as extras in the film. This is definitely a movie I will watch again.

A Moving Story of Faith, Kindness, and Forgiveness
I bought 'Finding Grace' because I am a fan of films with a positive message. I went into the film knowing nothing about the story, but luckily, what I found was an extremely well-made, moving story of faith, kindness, and forgiveness.

The film revolves around a young woman, Alaska Rose (played to perfection by Paris Warner) who is struggling to stay out of trouble, mostly due to the pain she feels from something she experienced in the past. When she is reluctantly sentenced to community service at a retirement home, she forms a bond with an eldery woman, Mrs. Foster, who is dealing with pain of her own . Don't want to give too much away past that. Just watch.

As the film goes on, the audience is given more and more of the main character's backstory, which really takes the film to another level. There were a couple of powerful scenes that I didn't see coming, and I'll admit, brought some tears to my eyes. It's really a testament to the writing and performances, which felt authentic and never forced. The writing and direction of Warren Fast proves that he is someone to watch in the future.

Overall, it was worth the purchase, and I would particularly recommend it to young people who might be dealing with some of the same problems that Alaska deals with in the film.

Wonderful Inspirational Faith based Movie

Finding Grace was a beautiful story of very relatable life difficulties. The actors were incredible- perfectly suited for the roles they played. I was Blessed to see the premier of this movie in Panama City in December and have anxiously been waiting to be able to view again! I will be purchasing the DVD as soon as I can. This probably is one of the BEST movies I have ever seen! Thank goodness for people like Warren and Stacie Fast who write and produce a movie that is full of uplifting real life stories. We need more of these kind of films especially in our world today!

A troubled teen gets a second chance and changes the life of not only herself, but others around her as well!
I don't see how anyone could give this movie a negative review! The characters and storyline are so realistic. Alaska, 18 years of age and giving her father gray hair, is ultimately directionless. She has no intention of going to college. She doesn't like her dad's rules, but instead of moving out, she fights him tooth and nail. She's battling anger and depression over the suicide of her mom, and that has caused a strain on the whole family (she has a little brother). She eventually gets caught for having a fake ID to consume alcohol. Now that's she's an adult, she'll no longer get treated like a juvenile for committing crimes. She's ordered to community service at a nursing home. The judge makes it clear that the next time she does something illegal, she's going to jail. She starts out uninterested and bored with the senior citizens, but she ends up befriending one of the residents. It was really nice to see her transformation. She went from being rude and out of control, to a caring and thoughtful young woman. The acting was so believable. There were a few times my eyes welled up with tears. It's a marvelous film that illustrates the power of God, family, and friendship.

Touching!

This a wonderful story of what God does to your life and just touches to me! The quality of the movie does not matter when you feel that love in your heart that God has for all of us! Cried about 3 times. 😅

100% recommended to YOU..The Movie Goer
JJustinEck20 November 2022
Though I noticed that the audio seemed that the whole picture was filmed in a tunnel, that doesn't count out the picture in my book. Let me explain.

I greatly appreciated the storyline, the acting, the range of emotions and the facial clarity that each actor brought to their own parts. Paris Warne's Amanda Rose character, showed real emotion and angst as she hit wall after wall of life's many challenges, and gave a superb performance !! The other more senior talent (Erin Gray, Bo Svenson and David Keith, showed their expertise, savvy and gold winning talent as well. Great Job, way to go !!!!!

A Major League Performance Given by Paris Warner
bullsmjsp8 March 2023
Granted, I do not work in the movie industry nor am I a movie critic. But, I know a gem when I see one. The actress who starred as Alaska, Paris Warner, delivered a major league performance in this movie. Her acting merited 5/5 stars. I found myself becoming engrossed by her character as the movie progressed. Exceptional performance given by Miss Warner.

The movie's storyline was emotionally moving, inspiring, and captivating. It sporadically evoked moments of intense emotions in me. The evolving bond between Alaska and Mrs. Foster appeared believable and touching.

This movie will not disappoint it's viewers. I highly recommend it. I actually decided to watch it again the next day.
