Terrible

The show is becoming too stupid to watch. I would blame the weakness of this episode of the Dunfey storyline but the episode was just bad.

What is worse is that Ariel Winter has decided to deforn herself with lip injection and now she looks like a Kardashian searching for stalking an NBA bus.

It is hard to listen to Nolan Gould now because he sounds like he is talking underwater.

There was not one LOL moments. Time to call it a day!!

An explanation of insecurity results in poignancy

Warning: Spoilers
"Royal Visit" builds around the idea of insecurity.the stories themselves are relatable. We've all been there, when someone new comes into our life, and we can't help but compare ourselves to them.

For Jay, Gloria, Phil and Claire, doubt sets in, and though they are in separate story lines, the emotional weight is the same. Jay and Gloria struggle with Joe's friend's parents, and how lame they seem in comparison. Phil and Claire similarly express difficulty in Haley's astrophysicist boyfriend.

These stories are satisfying and rewarding in their own, and offer Modern Family's impeccable character work. Each plot balances its comedic needs with the emotional drama. "Royal Visit" is so effective because of how everything comes together as a whole.

FOr Cam and Mitch, they each explore insecurity in their own ways. Despite the bumps along the way, they come to realise how much they need each other. They're two very different people, but they work together.

The most piercing moment is when Haley confronts Alex about making Bill feel inadequate, because it's what Alex has always done to her. For its ninth season, the character development is simply superb.

Overall, "Royal Visit" is packed with energy, excitement and emotion.i

Warning: Spoilers
The three lines of the three families are separately fun and well organized together,so many natural punchlines and hilarious plots that makes you giggle before you realize it, for example, the mute gesture language between Cam&Mitch ; the "right thing" for Jay after breaking traffic rules turns out to be asking the guard where the cinnabon is ; the ongoing competition of "who is smarter" between Claire&Phil when girls bring professor and firefighter boyfriend home, which goes further to emotional intelligence field. Looking forward to the rest of the last two seasons!
