It just keeps getting better.

I've seen intelligent shows about vampires before. They're rare, but they do exist. This show isn't so much about the occult nature of vampires and witches but the problems they face.

The Congregation feels very real; if a small group has an opportunity to gain power they will always do so, and they will do anything to increase and maintain that power.

I'm quite impressed by A Discovery of Witches. It is far better than expected.

I loved this series, the story of witches very good

Strong episode, strong emotions

The scenes in this episode are filmed beautifully. It also gives a better insight into the politics of the Congregation, and how the characters we've previously been introduced to relate to each other. Also shows the development of feelings between the main characters at just the right pace.

Though, you understand that there's more going on under the surface that is probably explained in the book.
