Kick Ass!

This episode has it all! Good acting, blood, gore, humor and some pretty disturbing stuff, even for Ashes standard!

I bow to everyone who made this episode such a dream to watch and yeah, not much more to say. Watch it!;)

FantASHtic episode

Warning: Spoilers
* Spoiler alert *

This episode packed so much action and emotion. It's one of my favourites in an already incredible third season. If the season keeps up this consistency than it could well turn out to be my favourite season yet. The two focused story lines are both suspenseful and action packed, the one with Ash and the Swedish woman fighting little toddler Ash being more on the funny and grotesque side. This episode featured some big WTF moments which had me laughing hard. I love Pablo's arc with him becoming especial then the sudden and emotional kiss between him and Kelly and to top it of in the other storyline there was the bonding with Brandy and Ash!

Just watch the show everyone, its GROOVY

Hot tamale!

The director of the previous episode (Daniel Nettheim) outshot himself & made this one even better: everyone can see clearly the hell of job of the crew & the cast.

Samantha Young (as blondie Natalie) showed the 3rd great appearance.

Looks like, Dana DeLorenzo well affected Arielle Carver-O'Neill, who showed a very good acting.

Special thanks to the little kids & the parents of those young talents.

Bruce Campbell acted groovy, just as in "Army of Darkness".

Overall, including humor, is 10 out of 10.

A mini-Ash causes mayhem.

I'm really not a fan of films that try to make little kids seem scary: it rarely works. In this episode of Ash vs Evil Dead, Ruby's demonic child toddler around causing supposed terror, his face distorting occasionally through the use of iffy CGI, but the chills just aren't there. Neither are the laughs. I can appreciate the absurdity of the little brat crawling inside the headless corpse of a woman and controlling her to beat up Ash, but the humour falls flat. Even the kid popping his head out from between the body's legs didn't make me smile.

The other plot thread in this episode - Pablo's journey to another realm after he is stabbed by the Kandarian dagger - is necessary to move the plot forward, but again I found little to enjoy. Pablo's possession by the book has gone on for way too long. I particularly hated the rubbish rubber mouth on Kelly's leg which looks like a really bad hand puppet (because it probably was).

With this being the final season I really hope that the show gets its mojo back and ends on a high. If it doesn't get any better, I can see why they canned it.

This show just gets worse with every episode. It's an endurance test just to keep watching.

Adds up to very little

Warning: Spoilers
Didn't care much for this episode either. The whole Pablo-in-the-dream-world stuff is just heavy handed exposition. The rest is a set-piece with Ash battling an evil kid. Lots of gory and explicit gags but it adds up to very little.
