The UK release was cut, the distributor chose to remove scenes of strong violence in order to obtain a 12A classification. An uncut 15 classification was available.
The television broadcast version trims scenes of strong violence; the opening fight sequence has been edited by removing gory shots, blurring some injury detail and changing the visuals to black and white where gore is integrally featured.
