At the very beginning, I was excited about the main idea of the film, but it first seemed too slow and it really was troughout the plot. Sadly noticed lot of missed oppurtunities concerning vampires. The story was quite flat, but humorous.

The 10/10 review is a direct translation of promotional material from a Hungarian article probably left by someone close to the production. It is anything but unbiased.
Story is meh, but it's a comedy. Sadly, it underperforms in that regard, too. It's quite well made, nonetheless, from a technical point of view and given its budget,

Nagy Ervin and the supporting actors played very well, good humor but unenjoyable plot, If you saw the trailer, you saw the whole movie

I did not watch the same movie as the other reviewers, therefore the more positive notation. This is not a vampire comedy, this is a political satire with vampires, in the same way "Juan de los muertos" was a political satire with zombies.
The film pokes fun at Hungary in the Kadar and Brejnev era, and there is a number of nice jokes about the great camaraderie of socialist countries. Our vampire here is both the unruly presence of opposants second guessing the system and the appetite for western freedom and wealth.
This is a well done, nicely acted, and fun film. A little slow sometimes but overall quite a nice bit of self deriding post communism reflection. We would do well in the western block to have that much humour sometimes.
