The Science Fair Result
claudio_carvalho7 July 2023
When Sheldon does not win the science fair prize, he becomes affection for science and decides to go to the arts department to become an actor. His audition is perfect, and the teacher Gene Lundy casts him for the lead role of Annie. But his parents are not happy with his choice.

"Killer Asteroids, Oklahoma, and a Frizzy Hair Machine" is another funny episode of "Young Sheldon". This time, Sheldon feels offended that his worry and research about the possibility of an asteroid hits Earth loses the competition for a "simple" Van Der Graaff generator in a science fair. The result is his deception with science and consequent change to the world of acting, provoking laughs and many funny situations. My vote is eight.

Warning: Spoilers
I thought this was a thinner episode actually, with the tap dancing routine brought in a) to show of Iain Armitage's passion for it, and b) to pad out the running time.

Jason Alexander is someone I never find that funny either, so his guest appearance (does he just tick off shows to guest on through the tv guide?) did nothing for me either.

It's an episode of good moments, but leads to a fairly predictable run of events, and a final scene that we probably could predict happening right from the very start.

So overall, fine, but largely predictable and not helped by the appearance of Alexander.
