- A man gets his eyes laser-beamed. The laser eventually blows through the back of his head as pieces of his brain fall out of the gore.
- A man gets pummeled offscreen and his bloody remains are shown splattered on the run through porch.
- A woman is beaten by the super-powered threat offscreen. You can vaguely see her body in the background being smashed into the ceiling and floor. She is then thrown into the next room where she lies dripping blood with gashes and chunks of glass in her face. She gurgles and moans a bit before dying.
- A woman's corpse is shown dissected with her intestines hanging out.
- Probably the most gruesome scene in the film. The super-powered threat drops a vehicle with a man inside - upon the vehicle landing, the man's jaw gets torn off by his face smashing onto the wheel. The man attempts to hold his gory face with his jaw gushing open before all the detail is shown for a number of seconds, EXTREMELY GRAPHIC
- In a dream sequence, a woman is shown holding a baby when blood starts pouring from her eyes and mouth. The wrapped up infant is also squirting blood through the blanket. The baby isn't harmed.

- The super powered threat's appearance is frightening, masked and with red glowing eyes. Horror-style visual and sound effects may frighten younger viewers.
- The scenes of violence are intense and gory. Family relationships are strained to the breaking point. The use of an atypical villain may disturb some viewers.

Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The film overall gets tense after the super-powered threat succumbs to his alien urges. Whenever he harms his victims, it's always shown through their perspective, signifying how powerless they are. The ending of the film is dark with the super-powered threat momentarily emerging almost unscathed from his crimes.
- This movie is very dark, as this boy murders his family members and friends one by one in brutal ways.
- We see Brandon's dad, carrying a rifle, crying as he works up his willpower and shoots his son Brandon in the back of the head from a few yards away.
