ONLY DISGUSTING ACTS WITHOUT TRUE MEANING
ccrc2811 December 2020
This movie is only a lot of short scenes of Trump talking/acting very nasty changing very fast without pause or any kind of analysis by a third person, so you can only see the entire movie if you are a true Trump lover or like to see people behaving very bad by such long time (1h35m).

For me this movie only serves to prove that something was actually said/done by one person, once he's of the kind that often says he didn't said/did something that he really said/did.

A movie to delight his electoral opponents.

SAD BUT VERY REVEALING
tkdlifemagazine30 August 2022
This is a sad look at Donald Trump's malignant narcissism in his own words. I am not actually sure the bent of the filmmakers. They Maya actually be Pro-Trump. Regardless, the film demonstrates Trump's malicious attacks on Rosie O'Donnell, Jeb Bush, Dr. Ben Carson, John McCain, Meghan Kelly, and more. What is super interesting is how, in the midst of attacking his main targets, Trump manages to attack and create collateral damage for so many of the other people join the mix, like moderators, reporters, and family members. MY issue with Trump is not his politics. It is his complete and total lack of Presidential dignity. I believe "being" Presidential is one of the things required to "lead the world". The results prove I am definitely out of step-but hopefully not for long.

To be watched for the audio, albeit it keeps to one note
take2docs21 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
On June 16, 2015, Donald Trump announced his run for the presidency. Hardly anyone outside of Trump's inner circle took this campaign trail of his seriously, from smug celebrities who snidely predicted a Trump defeat to media pundits who simply shrugged the whole thing off. Fast-forward to January 20, 2017 and Trump's inauguration, an announcement which for many among the utterly shocked and stunned no longer was a laughing matter ... save for a few arguably unfunny impressionists who would soon take to lampooning the 45th POTUS. It's a bit difficult to determine from watching this whether the director of the film is pro- or anti-Trump. I suppose from a filmmaking approach this is a good thing, in that the film seems welcoming of both supporters and critics. Trump is portrayed here as one-dimensional: nothing more than an insulting quipster. Obviously, the man is and was so much more than this (a professional success, for starters), but TRUMP: THE ART OF THE INSULT isn't interested in fleshing out its subject, content it is only in depicting the former commander-in-chief as a lippy stick figure, a personified cardboard cutout with a mouth on him. This, exactly how Trump's critics viewed him, as likely the more low-minded of his admirers had also. TRUMP: THE ART OF THE INSULT will either have the viewer laughing with or at the star of the show. In that regard, it plays inclusive of a wide audience. For those anticipating to be intellectually stimulated, they do best to look elsewhere. (Recommendable, in my opinion, is a 2015 little known documentary titled "The Making Of Trump," a much more mature look at Trump, which chronicles his pre-political life.)

Mitt Romney. Jeb Bush. Barack Obama. Bernie Sanders. Rosie O'Donnell. Hillary Clinton. They're all treated to multiple barbs here, as are a number of other square suits and easy targets. A wheeler-and-dealer is usually born with the gift of the gab, and say what you will of Trump, one would have to agree that, if anything, he's a fluent speaker. A hemming and hawing driveler he is not. If he were, this film would have been a complete bore and disaster. This is basically a 90-minute-or-so compilation of Trump-expressed insults, one after the other-after the other-after the other. Needless to say, after so many minutes it begins to sound like a broken record. We learn next to nothing about Trump other than that he is a great banterer who took great delight in dissing those he disliked while in office. This one-track clips-athon is entertaining to a degree, yes, but all in all is junk food for the mind. If you get off on listening to someone spout endless cheap shots, backhanded compliments, comebacks, and the like, TRUMP: THE ART OF THE INSULT will in all likelihood aim to please. Personally, this was a rather tiresome ordeal to sit through. I thought this was maybe going to present some back stage footage, to counter a bit of the verbal bombardment. Instead, Trump is hardly shown outside of his speaking at rallies and debates, and in the latter case largely in the act of one-sided verbal exchanges. What with Trump not being re-elected, I suspect that for many people the world over his presence in the White House will be missed, if for no other reason than that this larger than life character provided some much needed and often amusing escapism from the six o'clock news during his first and only term in office. Indeed, those disappointed with the recent U. S. election results, may find some solace in watching this film. After all, for such ones, there are only fond memories to be played over and over and over and over.

Showcase of Trump's Idiocy
WristFlick4 August 2018
Does a good job of showing horrid he is at insults, and being a human being. It honestly is just a showcase of all the stupid things he said before and during the election. You can't watch this and gain any respect for the man.

Pathetic as should be!
isamuominae29 April 2020
I just watched this after the USA reached the sad milestone of 1 million people infected by the COVID19. You can see how his words (or barks) aged pretty bad.

This "movie" is a attempt to make him looks big. Almost 2 hours of insult and lies from a tiny man that "fight like a adult" but have a temper of a idiotic teenager that makes tantrum as a living.

Watching his promises becoming a LIE like "Mexico will pay for the wall" was fun, but otherwise this "movie" is a pure waste of time specially to normal people that have common sense, education or kindness.

Is a idiotic show run, is hard to believe that he still have millions of supporters after nearly 4 years and almost 15.000 LIES recorded over past years with his mediocre government. Worst President in the history, he is worse than Chavez or Maduro in Venezuela or Lula & Dilma in Brazil.

A grotesque bulling show, this is what this insult collection is about. I refuse gave a score, 1 is too much for a such idiotic waste of time like this movie is.

Exactly what the title says
jenpolhamus10 November 2020
LOVED this! While I'm sure many would be offended by someone telling it like it is, I appreciate it. I voted for him twice because he wasn't a career politician. Even tough he may be rough around the edges, he tells it like it is.

It's in point
dingyblondegurl6 December 2020
Many of the things he's shown saying are disgusting. Also some of the things he says are things his supporters deny him having said. I really thought there would be more to this film. But it's only trump spewing insults. That is on point with the title.

Great documentary.

This was so incredibly funny. Goes to show you why people voted for Trump. As a Canadian I would have loved to see him win a second term. It's too bad the electoral system can't be trusted.

1 Hour 35 minutes of Donald Trump Soundbites You've Already Seen
PurpleCrayon20144 January 2020
If you're a Liberal - You Hate It. If you're a Conservative - You Love It. How some schmuck of a hack is able to use his children's college fund to put this together, which is public domain material, and charge money for it.....and people pay for it - I just don't understand. If you like seeing people being berated, this is your movie.

This is a compilation of Trump's most savage moments!
oldparrot-2897921 July 2020
This entire documentary presents highlights of Trump's best and funniest moments. If you are a liberal, I wouldn't recommend you to watch this, because you'll just get offended. Trigger warning! However, if you are a conservative and support President Trump, I guarantee you will enjoy watching this.

It's really funny! Worth your time.
rsvp3218 April 2020
I love politicians like this! It demonstrates that I can relate to him, and he to me. Even if President Trump was a Dem, I would find this movie entertaining.

I despise the life-long career politicians like we see just taking up space, with *both* parties! This movie shows us the alternative to the trough.

Viewer numbers for the 2016 debates and primary (which this focuses on) indicates that no other prior political event came even close to these. Highly entertaining! A similar movie/documentary couldn't be made about any politician after President Lincoln.

I look forward to the sequel, after the 2020 election!

Thought The Title Was A Parody
dtp1110 November 2020
It was a shock to me after watching this to find out it wasn't meant to showcase how terrible of a human being Donald Trump is. When I went to the film's website and read the director's Q&A and realized he actually meant this to show Trump in a positive light, it was eye-opening (and disappointing)! I am a former staunch Republican supporter, who in the past few years - after leaving a (different) cult, has come to realize just how terrible Trump and the Republican party really is. It's amazing to me that people can watch this and still think Trump was a good thing to happen to America. I understand how people can fall for his shenanigans, having fallen for it myself at one point, but to still be someone who supports him after all he's done, that's just sad. As far as the quality of this documentary, the music and visual effects feel like Trump (or a child) put them together... they're so bad (like Four Seasons Total Landscaping bad). It makes more sense after realizing a Trump supported was behind it though! I would still recommend this to people who are able to critically think, so they can see a nice compilation of the worst of Trump. There was one part where I laughed, and that was when Trump made the "Pardon Me" joke about Hillary (which I doubt he wrote, but still). I dislike Hillary (still), but I dislike Trump even more now. America lost what little respect it had from the rest of the world, and it's sad that Trump supporters would just say "who cares" (or just deny it) in response. A bunch of children. So glad Biden (who I'm also not a fan of) won 2020. Trump and his supporters really showcased the worst of America for the past four years and it was painful to watch, just like this documentary.

The end of an error
bluefoxniner20 January 2021
Just like his presidency, this film only has one obvious parallel...both are unmitigating mistakes. There really is nothing new here to see. If you are pro trump, this is a feast for your lazy critical thinking skills. if you are a normal human being, you'll find it toe curling.

Make another one.
rebaaron-127 January 2018
With all the fake news documentaries about Trump, it is a treat to watch one that tells the truth. Now do one that shows all that he has accomplished in just one year. It should be two hours long to cover everything. It is the most astounding first year any president has ever had. The economy is roaring back to life. ISIS is gone. America is going to be energy dominant in the world within five years. Business is coming back to America. All because of his policies. It is an amazing demonstration of how incompetent and self serving our politicians have been. We have a leader is going to MAGA. There is no doubt about it.

Highlights the First Amendment to the United States Constitution
hvnzqx8 February 2022
This movie does a great job of highlighting free speech. Trump showed people it's okay to speak their minds, and this movie captures that perfectly. It also shows why people liked Trump and voted him into office. In other words, he didn't hold back on calling out "The Swamp" and their shortfalls on major issues domestically and internationally.

All of America's failings in one giant Wart..
wbsimsjr-3240519 October 2021
More dt trash.. I have been so relaxed since this turd hasn't been on social media.. I like not hearing from a whiny toddler every hour of everyday. I love our quiet boring Prez... Not so long ago, "constitutionists" were/are labeled home grown terrorists: get pulled over by a cop and have media found that simply showed interest in our constitution would lead to hours of harassment.

Powerful people want to stay in power and the only way that can be done is by eroding the foundations of any system that limits their ability to stay in power. Regardless of "right"/"left", liberal or conservative..blah blah.. that is a fact.

It never ceases to amaze me that my fellow americans don't trust the electoral system..yet we vote our politicians in and out as we should. What they should be crying fowl about is how politicians can be bought and sold by high power private interests and big money/lobbyists. Our system is not perfect and sometimes the majority votes in someone the individual doesn't like.. But every single American should be pushing back against ANYBODY that attempts to circumvent the law or remove term limits.. Demand reform, demand better accounting. Demand better tracking of big money..but DEFEND the root of the system.... The "great" America of the past..puts the election behind them, gets behind the President for 4 years and gets going.. How any American with ANY sense of history could swallow dt "great america" is scary. The fact that the politicians people don't "trust" can divide them, their families, friends and our nation.. Is a tragedy.. Ask people if "hitler" can happen here and they talk as though it won't.. Yet dt is proof..defacto proof that it can.. This video is testament to American's failure to demand more from those that govern Us..He is our fault.....

Once and for all...
icdrgon10 April 2022
Once and for all this is how you make fun of idiots, and show how ridiculous it is to be so biased against the conservatives that have actually helped this nation. If nothing else is evident it is how horribly run this nation is today when there is no humor.
