Just Brilliant!

This episode could have been a full length feature in its own right. The suspense was built up so well throughout the episode, with some interesting character development for Liz. - 10/10

One of the best episodes so far
bgimdb-30-8984935 January 2018
I really liked this episode with almost 100% Liz (Megan Boone). I could have watched a feature length version of this easily. I really hope the rest of the season will feature Liz primarily like the first part of the season featured Tom.

I want to see this Liz going forward.

Binge watching the Blacklist abit out of order, but have to say this is simply one of the best I've seen. Liz is awesome and glad she did what she did cuz of what the guys did.

Decent episode

Warning: Spoilers
I am glad so far Liz is a bit better in season 5. Not the whining teenager act that she previously had. It is weird though the dog was named Kate, after the woman that is responsible for getting Tom killed..... Every show has the "coincidence" that the star is at the wrong or right place at the wrong or right time..... Just happen to be at a cottage all by her lonesome and a bunch of bad guys show up........ But then she shows once again why she is the worst fbi agent in the world. Gives her gun to a guy that can't stay awake?????? Seriously???? And the writers kill the dog? Awful lazy writing. She knew the guys were bad and she gave up her gun...... Ugh worst..... Fbi...... Agent....... Ever

Nothing New but Great Fun
Hitchcoc23 November 2022
There's nothing quite like a story where it is someone perceived as defenseless going against overwhelming odds. Elizabeth is damaged and she longs for Tom. She is resilient and has survival skills but is trying to be alone and get herself back together. The some mobsters show up and she is forced to face great odds without the help of Dembe or Red. She is Daddy's little girl and has the genetic makeup and the FBI experience, but she has to believe it herself. We know she will prevail as do characters in her position in so many dramas. So what we have is the setup for a new Reddington who will now make their efforts doubly formidable. Could be fun.

Warning: Spoilers
The most fun episode of the series! Liz goes incognito In Alaska where gangsters stumble upon her cabin. Fun ensues. A joy to watch! Stallone would be proud.

Something is off

Warning: Spoilers
Something is very off like when did Tom reconnect with his mother and somehow testify against his father? Makes no sense, also leaving the baby with her. Other than that I'm good with episode.

Joan of Wick
brrzzpffrt22 April 2020
After the shoddy writing of the previous episode, this one stands out already for not being about any Blacklister in particular, as the title has it. Of course there were going to be flashbacks and stuff to explain, maybe a tad too much. I really hate the whole animals as vehicles thing because it's always the same and you just pretty much know it when you see them, not my favorite there. But the whole traps, trees talking thing was really nice, a bit of a nod to John Wick, this episode, and finally, finally, less of that whiny, dreary stuff that's been going on with everything just being background noise as a justification to provide more room for squabbles. This is what I wanted, this is what I got. More of it.

The "Grace" of the Aftermath.
Aktham_Tashtush4 January 2018
It is back, and the only thing i can think of is Revenge, the episode started a bit off, with some flashbacks of what it was like when Liz just woke up out of almost a year coma dealing with Tom's loss, and simultaneously showing her living a solitude life in a cabin somewhere in the stormy woods, up until things got interesting right on the last third of the episode.

The story-line was steady and growing to a well defined peak, all for one reason, to build a new plot for the second part of this season and just to slap us out of what happened a couple of months ago when the show lost Tom "for real this time".. whether the plot will revolve around a revenge and/or a new blacklisters i know it will be as strong as ever.. so can't wait.

Confusing & doesn't make sense.
Gw3n22 November 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I have watched every episode and love it, but this one is so confusing. In no other episode did Tom tell his mother who he was, and as for testifying against his father, where did that come from!. The only time his father was mentioned, it was to report that he had been killed in a plane crash. She then left her child with Toms mother who she doesn't know. The storyline in the cabin was absolutely ridiculous, hope the rest of the series gets back to how it was.

Felt almost like a horror movie
Pruikhoofd28 July 2021
This episode was so intense, kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time.

Even though this is not one of the "normal" blacklist episodes, this one is definitely among the greatest of the series.

Home Alone?
kathyxyz-594-6875328 January 2018
Not sure if I re-watched Home Alone way too many times with my kids since Thanksgiving to Christmas, but this episode had many scenes too similar to Home Alone. The trap, the teasing, pulling across snow. The story line is good though, and I like the flashback, Liz's struggle to recover.

The WORST episode.
chris-329-5342533 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This episode is utterly ridiculous.

It is absolutely unbelievable in the idiocy of the main character and the complete unbelievability of her lack of skill. A defenceless dog that seems to know more than the lead character dies and so does a ranger for no apparent reason because of Liz's uselessness.

None of the good characters in it in any form. All about Liz. The most utterly boring and useless FBI agent in existence. Whine whine whine.

I'd rather have turned this off and watched a blank screen for an hour.
