This very special episode of NCIS: LA was the best of the season, but still not as good as it could have been. The problem is how quickly they were able to turn the guy who had turned on his country.

If he had committed to treason and launching missiles he would not be talked down by some words from an ex-girlfriend.

A good episode, just not as great as it could have been.

They don't really try

I thought the episode was okay, but the ending is kinda weird. Miller's sister asks Kensi to save her brother and Kensi says that they will try EVERYTHING they can to. But as soon as Kensi crawls through the tunnel she should be hearing the same words we are, so she should realize that the threat is already gone because Miller doesn't want to do it anymore and it can't be done with only one person. But sure, it could be she didn't hear that. But she cán see the woman with her back to her, meaning Kensi could very easily just shoot her in the back and Miller would be fine. But no, she throws the grenade. And she doesn't even really check if Miller is dead, she just sees him slumped against a wall and that means he's dead. He could also be unconscious from the blow!
