Sex & Nudity

  • A naked male corpse is seen floating face-down in a pond for several seconds. A couple of men run nude through the woods at night, seen only from behind or with genitals obscured. A male corpse is seen nude, face down, with it's head cut off and sitting between the legs.
  • A man wearing only underpants and an older woman in a towel kiss on a bed, it's implied he's her gigolo. Women changing clothes are occasionally seen topless, but only from behind.
  • Some extra-marital affairs are mentioned.
  • An episode deals with child kidnapping and abuse. A cult leader is discovered to have been "marrying" the offspring of kidnapped girls as young as age 9.
  • Some plot lines involve efforts to prevent characters' homosexual orientation from being discovered.
  • At a couple of nightclubs, strippers' breasts are seen in dim light for a few seconds several times.

Violence & Gore

  • Murders are the subject of many episodes.
  • A corpse charred to the point that facial structure is barely discernable is seen twice at mid-distance for a few seconds. A corpse found in the woods has been stabbed, with considerable blood, but this is shown from some distance and only briefly. A male corpse is seen nude, face down, with it's head cut off and sitting between the legs.
  • People are threatened with guns. A man is shot twice. Some physical assaults take place. Not much blood is shown in these scenes. A main character is shot and dies; we see considerable blood on the shirt.
  • People being suffocated with plastic bags over their heads are seen twice, once at close range. People are tased, and fall down twitching.

Profanity

  • "Fuck" is heard a few times per episode. There are some racist (anti-Syrian) diatribes.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Some social drinking. Infrequent cigarette smoking.
  • It is revealed that pharmaceuticals were illegally tested on children.
  • Several people die from overdoses of illegal drugs, including fentanyl. A dealer says he only sells clean weed and cocaine.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A charred corpse might disturb young viewers.
  • A favorable character is killed.
