Wow Jorge Garcia has a wonderful voice! I hope they have him sing more often. The episode was good, but for me that was the best part.

Filming Mistake "North Shore", Hackers, Homeless Crisis

Diamond Head in background 14 minutes 52 seconds to 16 minutes 59 seconds, you cannot see Diamond Head from the North Shore.
Having been trained to use a International Business Machine,IBM, Computer during the 1970s, and Apple Not Macintosh Computer during the later 1970s, during the 1980s a Commodore Computer and IBM PS2, some knowledge of UNIX, COBOL, FORTRAN,I have always said do not store anything you cannot afford to lose on a Computer.
The War between Hackers (White Hats) and Crackers (Black Hats) was just starting. Somewhere along the way the common person that did not know the difference referred to both the Hackers (White Hats) and the Crackers (Black Hats) as "Hackers". Just like the actual meaning of MOvable USEr Interface as designed by a SRI Team, not an Individual, was lost, as acronym MO.USE, MOUSE, as the first MO.USE, did not have a wire as a "tail", but from the side, and used a special metal plate as a pad that had these grid squares etched unto the surface so that the sensor could translate where the MO.USE was in relation to each square with the controlling software then placing the "X" on the screen that the software had plotted as X and Y coordinates on the screen (monitor), the MO.USE had to be calibrated to an "X" on the metal pad to an "X" on the monitor screen before use.
Because "Smartphones", "iPhones" are actual micro computers, they can be "Hacked" even easier than a cheap desktop computer. Because of WiFi, less than 5 year old technology, a Virus can spread Worldwide within hours. Most "Users" remain ignorant and put all kinds of Sellable critical information on their "Smartphones", "iPhones", "Tablets", "Pads,","Computers".
McGarrett tracked the Cellphone that was not answered, he would have known that was at a Homeless Shelter, as that Homeless Shelter at Chinatown is right across the Street from the HPD Police Station at Chinatown. Oahu Hawaii's Homeless Crisis is worse than as depicted, as the Democrats of the U.S. Island State of Hawaii still Fanatically Support those U.S. Laws that do not pertain to other U.S. States that Caused the Hawaii High Costs of Living, High Costs of Basic Food, High Costs of Rents and Leases, High Taxes, High Costs of Basic Utilities, Extremely High Costs of Labor, No Such thing as "Affordable Housing", resulting in 3/4ths of Hawaii's Millennials must leave Hawaii or become Hawaii's New Homeless, kicked Elderly to the Streets, increased Criminal Activities like Theft, Home Break ins, Theft from Vehicles, Armed Robberies, and much more. HOW ABOUT HAWAII FIVE O (Task Force Five Oahu, Not Task Force Five minus Zero) DOING AN EPISODE THAT SHOWS HAWAII'S HOMELESS CRISIS, as Oahu's thousands of Homeless Riot and Seize Hotels at Waikiki, The conclusion of that Episode is that Task Force Five Oahu, "Book em Danno" for Bribery to support those U.S. Laws, is seen leading many of Hawaii's Politicians in handcuffs out of the State Capitol into Prison Buses, change scene, a person crying wearing a FEMA jacket is carrying a small filthy barefoot unconscious thin girl from out from living under Hawaii Interstate 1 aka H-1 behind in the background coming out from the shadows of under H-1 are hundreds of Oahu's homeless following, next scene that little girl (age 5 to 7) is cleaned up and wearing a donated dress and rubber "slippers" playing with lots of other children in front of Shipping Container Homes. The costs for all the "Extras" to play the "Homeless" will be inexpensive, just use the Actual Oahu Hawaii Homeless, Sets and Locations inexpensive just film at the actual Homeless Locations. Show President Trump on TV stating that he will Exempt the U.S. Island State of Hawaii from those U.S. Laws, like he did for the U.S. Territory of Puerto Rico during the current Hurricane Disaster Relief at Puerto Rico.
Episode would be Titled Kulana Pono "doing the right thing at the right time for the right reasons".

Kono and her cousin are sorely missed. Can't they at least come back for some guest episodes? The woman who has replaced Kono looks like she is a female high school troublemaker. Nice to see Steve taking an interest in the young guy now at the academy. His instructor doesn't give the greatest report about him, but says that he reminds him of Steve. All officers should be like Steve McGarrett.
The beginning scene where Steve was about to buy used materials for the restaurant wasn't the greatest. Who would want to eat there with such old fixtures? Will the 5-O guys actually withhold information from the public?
The episode in itself about the informant being killed wasn't exactly the greatest. The fat man is given an opportunity to do some acting other than always talking about food when he is kidnapped by the killers who seem to want to do all informants in.
