Reasonable but not impressive episode. John Brackenreid gets some more screen time - and his acting lessons are starting to pay off (he's a cute kid and his wooden performances in past episodes are starting to morph into a show of depth for his character), which is nice. There is a lovely comedic subplot with George where we get to explore both his Pharoh's Curse book and his natural propensity to mentor (which shines). The mystery itself has plenty of good old fashioned misdirection and unlikely criminal when all is said and done, but the problem is that there is very little reason for the viewer to care about the victim or the perpetrator, so the episode doesn't have the emotional punch that makes for a great episode.
