As Liz heads off to avenge Tom's death in her usually haphazard way, she refuses to listen to anyone. There is an interesting development when she nearly gets herself killed. Don, who has been under the thumb of that guy after the killing of Hichin finally grows one and decides he has to be true to his calling. Of course, Red is in the middle of all this, but it conveniently allows all the special unit members back on an even keel--sort of. Liz is still looking into the cutthroats who were behind the death of Tom. So the show moves on with that as the key element. Of course, we still don't know about the body in the suitcase.

This episode begins in Toronto, a entire night club got poisoned and killed by a nervegas. Liz goes further with the investigation of Tom's death. Red has a new case, this time Samar got intel from Red someone who called The Informant who kills people with gas. Liz wants to know where Navarro is, she threatens a black guy and a asian. Liz shot down Pee Wee in his leg. Ressler got blackmailed by Prescott, he knows and has evidence that Ressler killed Laurel Hitchin. Sonia Fischer jumped out of the window, Red and Ressler were also present. Ressler is chasing Prescott, his real name is Mitchell Hatley Dembe hits Hatley with his car and Ressler arrested him. Liz arrived at Bobby Navarro, she tied him up. Red burned the police car where Prescott was in Prescott died instantly. Liz wants to know what the name of Tom's killer is, Liz got in a fight with Navarro she killed him. Really solid episode of The Blacklist Season 5, James Spader keeps getting better in evolving his character. This episode was again on the same level of the show.
