THE DEBUTANTES is another in a long line of Filipino ghost stories made on the cheap with localised plotting and very little in the way of action, incident, or special effects. Thus they're suitable for Filipino audiences but don't tend to export well to the west. This one's a high school ghost story which reminded me of the Korean WHISPERING CORRIDORS. The protagonist is a loner, an isolated girl who predicts death and destruction for the in-crowd at her school, but they merely scoff at her warnings. The execution is too slow and tame for it to be very exciting.

GRAVY NAMAN KAYO SA BORING. It's not that boring actually, the boring part is just in the middle part. The visual effects are good and weird at the same time. Minus 2 hecause it's kinda boring but very enjoying at the same time.
