The original cast had to grow on me, which it eventually did. Once I got used to the team's quirks and Happy's numerous Zippo lighters, I really started to enjoy the show.. For all the team's adventures, we also witnessed each characters' personal growth Into the human world - trudging through highways of success and side streets of bumps and bruises. This show has a soul. I like that. Most bumps in the road were manageable, but there were some over-the-top detractors One notable deviation was when they added the Navy SEAL Paige began dating. This group of episodes was a little uncomfortable, but manageable. He was obviously placed their to cause some friction between the two main stars. I can deal with that since he was likable. Once he left - everything in the world of ''Scorpion' turned to all good. Well - from there what could go wrong? Enter stage left, Florence. What a nasty personality. The actor playing this part is very talented, why she had to be so unlivable I do not know. So a show worth 10 stars drops to three because of a nasty character choice.
