Youth and old age meet.

This astonishing Quebec film bewitched me in a few minutes. In 1995 during a stay in the countryside with his parents, a tormented 17-year-old man met a 73-year-old lady. The bond between the two is more than wonderful. Wisdom meets inexperience, they like to see each other every day. The parents of the young man take a dim view of all this.

There are gems of contrast in the conversations between the two main protagonists. You can see it as a way of thinking and living in a world where it is difficult to find your place when you are 17 years old.

Low budget movie but definitely worth watching. CARPE DIEM.

Surprising movie from emerging artists

I entered the theater with a totally different expectation. I thought it would be slow and dramatic, but the tone and energy of this piece was completely different than what I expected. The movie was funny and energetic, with just the right touches of 90's music. Lighting and Set dressing was done amazingly. It is impressive to see what this team as accomplished with such a small budget.
