  • The movie does describe the bombing and the 2011 Utoya massacre. The aftermath of victims is more graphic than the actual bombing and shootings.

  • Some teenagers and adults get shot in the camp building. You can see gunfire from a distance but no actual shooting.

Violence & Gore

  • In the beginning of the movie, Breivik (Anders Danielson Lie) bombs a building. The explosion is shown in much detail. You see the aftermath of some victims. You see dead bodies on the street and bloody and wounded victims being treated.
  • Teenagers hiding are being shot at. They try to escape but most of them get shot. Blood splatters, and there are bloody wounds visible.
  • A severely wounded teenager lies on the ground. His face is completely bloodied, and he has severe damage to his eye, and also three of his fingers are severed, and various other wounds are shown around his body, in graphic detail.
