The movie is good. It's not the best. But,It's good.A Good cast.Good backgrounds and a good soundtrack. The problem I have with the film is the story. The story is a bit odd to follow. But,I can at list say it's good. I gave it 8 out of 10. Good characters,Great backgrounds,A great director and great writers. But,If the story was better.I would have put it higher up.

Mushino is great!

I adore the amount of practical effects used in this movie. The voice acting was great as well. If this were to get a screening at a theater I would definitely go. The soundtrack is great as well. It gives a nice 80's style of music which is what i like but not as much as orchestral. I would highly recommend this to many other kaiju fans out there~

Fantastic practical effects and music!

If it's something I love about movies, it's the practical effects, story, and music. Mushino did a great job delivering the three. Now I personally think Mushino should've had more screen time, and it should've had a faster pace, but it was a great film otherwise. Honestly, I'm excited for future installments with Raphael's newer films since they have been improving on many elements, and I appreciate the creativity put into all of his movies, since it shows the effort that fans will put into their films.

7/10 Has its flaws but can still be enjoyable

Warning: Spoilers
Mushino is a film about a Monster well.. called Mushino. He is a mutated Komodo dragon. The opening is some what reminiscent of Godzilla (1998) and has a plot which is like Godzilla (2014) combined with The Dark Night. Mushino only appears in the film for about 5 minutes for a film called Mushino and kind of gets boring around the half way point when one of the characters gets killed. I can't really remember because the characters aren't that memorable and the only character I can remember is the Phractus Leader. Nerfman was though a good choice to play him. The sets in the film are fantastic for miniatures. The sand though that's always on the figures looks just really sloppy. I recommend washing the figures if you are going to be using them because when they have all of this sand and paint chips on the faces then it kind of ruins the immersion and makes you realize that the characters are toys. Also, at the ending, it makes no sense. There is no backstory what so ever and should have had some kind of foreshadowing during the film so that it would make more sense. So, please do not take this review as an attack and simply as constructive criticism.
